Does skin cancer always require surgery?

While there are many treatment options for skin cancer, such as topical medications and light-based treatments, I still believe the most effective solution is cutting them out. For the most common types of skin cancer, such as Basal Cell Carcinoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma, I use MOHS, which is a precise micrographic surgical technique. It is an outpatient procedure that is not only the most effective treatment, but is a minimally invasive surgery. For Melanoma, depending on the size, location and depth, it can be removed with surgery, or a combination of surgery and radiation.
